Outstanding service! My roofing job actually surpassed my expectations, thanks to Mike and Dakota of Goodin R & F. You can not go wrong hiring this company. The attention to detail and customer service is far beyond what you would receive from any other contractor. They made everything so friendly and stress free that I actually miss having them at my house. Make your life a whole lot easier and hire this company. A+++

Last winter, I had wicked ice dams and my roof leaked into my bedroom. I hired Goodin Roofing to replace my entire roof. Mike and his crew removed the old, rotting 1/2" plywood (which we found out had NO moisture barrier underneath) with new 3/4" plywood. In addition, he added insulation which was missing in many places, and fixed some "floating joists" which didn't seem to be attached correctly. His work is top-notch, and they were really mindful and careful to make as little mess as possible with such a big job. You can tell they have pride in their work. I am VERY pleased with my awesome new roof! It looks fantastic too. I highly recommend them.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I do take training classes for the new technologies and techniques for hanging/laying roofing and siding.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was younger I worked trade jobs and loved it but decided I needed to do the whole corporate job. After working corporate America for a while, I felt unsatisfied with my job, I felt that no matter what I did I wasn't really making a difference. Since heading back to the trades, I have been so much happier. I also feel, that there is more self worth which leads to myself doing a better job and something myself and the home owner can be proud of.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common type of jobs include asphalt roofing, and HardiePlank siding.
