FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I've heard stories from most of my customers regarding bad experiences with contractors. Here are a few tips to avoid problems with any outsourced work: 1. Always get detailed cost estimates. If dealing with multiple bids there will almost always be some difference between what each contractor proposes. 2. Be clear on what you expect and make sure those details are proposed in the estimate. 3. Do your own research. There are DIY (Do It Yourself) websites that will list potential solutions to your problems and aide in the understanding of some field specific nomenclature. 4. When remodeling is concerned there are always varying degrees of product quality. Make sure to familiarize yourself with these. A good example would be counter tops. Granite is a natural, porous stone which requires maintenance and is not repairable. Some enjoy the natural look of granite, which is understandable. If you have a fear of the counter being damaged, a good alternative would be a manufactured quartz counter top, which can be repaired inexpensively. It does, however, have a uniform, manufactured look. The costs of both are usually similar.
