FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family has been in this industry in Northern NJ for over 90 years. It’s all I know and it’s what I love.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Average joe, Fancy Nancy, frugal frank, Poor Paul and rich Ray! From tv personalities to fortune 5 CEO’s and people who have no money and are just getting by. It’s the character of people who you meet while doing the job for them that influence my life so many ways. No two people are exactly the same and it’s really something when the richest is the cheapest and the poorest is the big tipper. It goes to show you never know who your talking to!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get 3 quotes. Price shouldn’t be the deciding factor. Cheaper is not always the best. You get what you pay for, especially when it’s comes to someone providing a service. Also be as descriptive and honest as too the work you need done when looking for a quote or speaking with potential contractors. It helps us be as fair and accurate about compensation and that is what you are looking for. If you try to get over on the provider in the end you will be expected to be paid for your work and I don’t like having to increase the quote I gave in the end because you said you had 5 items to move but it was 10...Honesty is huge.
