- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees encompass four types of work: Speaking, training, coaching, and webinars. For some of my work I charge a flat fee, sometimes a fee determined by the number of people participating in the program and sometimes an hourly rate. I make every effort to work within my clients' budget and will provide with a detailed quote as soon as I know the specifics of your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what your needs and objectives are to determine if we are a good match for one another. If the skills and programs I offer, as outlined here and in my website, look interesting to you, a telephone conversation followed by a face-to-face meeting are a good idea. Before delivering a talk, I like to visit the location of the event to become familiar with the facilities and the audio-visual resources. This visit also enables me to come up with ideas to make my talk relevant to your organization and your people.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been speaking professionally for about twelve years now. I'm an Advanced Communicator and an Advanced Leader with Toastmasters International, and will be awarded my Distinguished Toastmaster Certificate at the Toastmasters District 83 Conference in November of this year. I am a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach. I teach two programs at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University. When a minister is on sabbatical or unable to lead a worship service in of the congregations of our church, I frequently fill in and deliver the sermon. I have led over eighty worship service in 20 congregations in five states.
