My husband and I were in a frantic to find someone to take professional pictures for our courthouse wedding and it was extremely stressful as we only needed someone for a few hours rather the package deal so many others offered which was unnecessary for a 10 min court house wedding ceremony. While searching on Thumbtack, the first person to message me was Ji. He was so polite and professional upon initial conversation yet reasonable too. Through checking others, I kept coming back to Ji. He was the only real professional while sesrching on Thumbtack.. Upon calling Ji, i explained to him that I only needed someone for a few hours. He assured me how the process, pictures, contract and ideas for pictures would be done. Weddings are already stressful so it was a sigh of relief to deal with Ji. He shared his portfolio and information to get an idea of his work and he was so calm, yet professional and knowledgeable about his work and art where you can see he is passionate and dedicated to his craft. Its not just a job for him but what he enjoys doing, which was satisfying to know. On my wedding day, April 6th 2018, Ji was prompt, punctual and extremely professional. Although my family members were bidding to get pictures, Ji owned his place and took beautiful pictures more than what i expected to be honest. He instructed positions, stances and suggested scenes for the pictures, which was helpful and awesome as I was anxious on my special day. Everything ran smoothly and finished in the alloted time we agreed. Ji was kind enough to send a few edited pictures on the same day which is usually unheard of as normally photographers are busy, but Ji was so kind enough to go out of his way just to make me happy and I was excited to see them. It took only 2 days for the remainder pictures plus Ji is giving me 10 printed 8 by 10 pictures which is included. That is so awesome and appreciative. Personally, I would highly recommend Ji gir any future events or to anyone seeking a professional photographer who knows how to take good photographs for their special events, who is reasonable, punctual and actually makes you a priority as a customer. I really couldn't ask for more and I am so thankful I gave Ji the opportunity for my wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge for a basic set of prints even though I use High-end print machine and paper. Sometimes customers do not know it could cost several hundred dollars if they go to the professional print shops. I'm not talking about Costco or Wall green printing service. I only charge additional prints.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I send out the quote, I discuss more the detail to know exactly what the customer wants to achieve. So, I can add service or remove then the customer will have the exact quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography at Parsons School Of Design. Since I graduated from school. I have been working as a freelance photographer. While I'm at the school or after graduated I was 1. Digital Print Technician 2. Studio lighting TA 3.Analog Printing TA
