While these guys were kind and accommodating their final work was poor. We hired them to landscape an entire home but this work stretched them too far beyond their abilities. We were told the work would take one day but it ended up taking two full days working past dusk and ran >40% over budget. They consistently showed up an hour late. We provided the plants, marked plant locations, and gave them a detailed layout drawing but their spacing was horrible. I had to relocate plants myself. We had them extend our beds and I spray painted the new bed layout but they didn't follow it (sometimes making it 6" wider than we wanted). They had issues digging in one section of the yard and rented an earth auger. Despite warning them of 1" underground irrigation PVC pipes they broke through one which I had to repair myself. I helped them and directed them throughout the job but it still ended up looking bad. Mulch was uneven and stained our concrete which I had to pressure wash. Trees were planted on odd angles which I had to stake. They didn't use enough soil additive despite asking them multiple times to use more. Multiple plants blew away from high wind because they were planted too shallow...so I had to dig larger holes and replant them. They removed burlap from root balls which I've always been told to leave on. We're concerned our investment in plants may be lost because the holes were not dug large enough per our instructions. Mulch falls into the grass because the beds were not dug deep enough despite providing Dan with instructions and a drawing of what we wanted. Dan stopped getting back to me when I was addressing issues after the job. Very disappointed. All photos are after they left and considered their job was 'complete'. While the guys were nice to work with they were not experts or professionals in this field. In retrospect I wish I haired a professional landscaper on the area. Don't make the same mistake I did.
