- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat rate of $125/hour with a 1-hour minimum. Estimates via text/messenger are free, and in-person consults are $75 — credited back if you book the work. No surprises, just transparent pricing and clear communication.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation (text is fine!) to get a feel for your project. If it’s straightforward, we’ll give you a free ballpark. From there, we schedule a time and handle it fast. For more complex jobs, we offer a $75 consult — and that gets credited if you book us. Easy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We saw a gap between DIY YouTube disasters and overpriced contractors. So we built Fix-It Buddy to be that reliable in-between: fast, professional help for all the jobs homeowners can’t (or don’t want to) do themselves.
