FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on type/size of ceremony (elopements, vow renewal, micro or traditional wedding), travel required, and/or add-ons such as rehearsal, and equipment needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Inquiry: The process begins when a couple reaches out to the us to inquire about their services. This can happen through various means, such as phone calls, emails, website contact forms, or referrals. Initial Consultation: Once we receives the inquiry, the couple will schedule an initial consultation. This consultation can be conducted in person, over the phone, or through video conferencing. During this meeting, we will get to know the couple, understand their preferences, discuss ceremony options, and answer any questions they may have. Contract and Booking: If the couple is satisfied with us and wants to move forward, a contract is typically drawn up. The contract outlines the details of the services to be provided, the wedding date, time, and location, as well as the agreed-upon fees. Once the contract is signed and any necessary deposits are paid, we officially reserves the wedding date on our calendar!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although typically officiants have no strict educational requirements, we always research, meet or exceed the legal regulations based on the wedding location. Hitched By Harper receives training through organizations like IAPWO (International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants) to enhance our skills in performing ceremonies, including communication, cultural understanding, and legal procedures. Experience and mentorship is also valuable for us, and continuing education helps us stay updated with industry trends.
