I hired Rhonda when I moved into my in-town home in Clinton. My house sat on a street shaded by cherry trees and the front entrance was overgrown with weeds and drab shrubs that werent flourishing. Rhonda cleaned and re-planted my entryway bringing in color and the feel of country to the shaded areas to the left and right of my entryway. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees for Landscape Design Services are hourly with a two hour minimum. That can be as simple as one hour spent together discussing your needs followed by my photographing/measuring your landscape and an hour of return time to discuss the drawings and instructions created for you. Any additional time needed is handled on a job by job basis keeping in mind your goal to get started enjoying your new landscape. If you need assistance finding plants I can certainly help with that as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We determine a time to meet during daylight hours to discuss what is already planted, what you'd like to see improved and your preferences in trees, bushes, flowers, etc. If you are brand new to gardening I can teach you as much or as little as you'd like to learn. I will photograph and measure areas and set up a time to meet to discuss your new plans.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Gardener with over 20 years of experience in design of everything from large estate properties to in town home yards that need privacy and beauty to enhance their locations. I have also designed County parks gardens, expansive golf course beds and every type of container for Retail establishments, Homes, commercial business exteriors and more. I have freelanced at nurseries designing Holiday greens, installed same for private customers indoors and outdoors, and for small. town businesses such as restaurants, shops and the like. Every job is a learning experience and I am constantly reading and researching current trends and have an affinity for historical designs tying in property to a home or building's particular era.
