I have been training with Scott for nearly a year now, my goals were to lose weight but mainly tone up, gain muscles and improve my shape. I also wanted to learn boxing and gain more self confidence and energy for my every day life. I especially need somebody who motivates me and I need to see results. Working with Scott I have achieved my goals, I look and feel a lot better and it is so much fun that I don't need any extra motivation to go to training! I was particularly impressed by Scott's enthusiastic personality, people skills and knowledge of his field. I have enjoyed training with Scott and he incorporated boxing into our training in a fun way and exactly at the amount I was looking for. He is very flexible and has adjusted the training to my wishes but he knows what I need and pushes me beyond what I thought I am capable of. Jackie is awesome. She teaches the best techniques and has helped correct my form. She cares about everyone that walks into her gym and into her life. She cares that I get it right instead of just making money. I wish I could train more often with her because I know I would be in excellent condition and a supreme fighter. Or at the very least supreme in self defense if God forbid I should ever need it. When I think of great teachers Jackie is my top 3. Probably #1. I just wish she was closer to my area. Or I closer to hers. If your close to her gym. GO!!! you will fall in love with her spirit and commitment to training. You will will find a new home too. OK I really need to move. I would literally move closer just so I can go train with her on a regular basis. I don't drive so its not easy for me to get to her. But if you can... GO!!!

The 8 year old who is bullied at school was very happy with his private lesson. He's already feeling more confident and has learned some self defense moves that are appropriate for his age, height, strength level, etc. John will be doing bi-weekly one on one self defense lessons for the next few weeks and then some. As a grandma, I'm very happy my grandon is learning how to protect himself, confidence, how to get out of bully situations, etc.
Private, personal self-defense, and martial arts lessons with a sensei who has been teaching students self-defense for over 30 years. I have a black belt in four separate martial arts and styles. I am dedicated and committed to both the martial arts and the student's learning and self-confidence. The martial arts began centuries ago with the teacher and student trusting and learning together in a unique and private setting. The student was able to not only learn self-defense, confidence, and protection skills, but they were also able to learn and grow as an individual and as a person. The element of trust became easier for the student as they were able to confide and learn in this sacred and private setting. There are no other students to distract you from learning, no lines, no substitute teachers, no being stuck in the back of the class or the back of the room. All questions were asked and all questions were relevant. The student was always the priority and the focus of the class and session. Always more time for learning and confidence building. That's the tradition where I came from and what I believe in. No uniform is required, no long term contract, and no hidden fee. The only request from me, Sensei Dennis, is for serious students only who keep their word, who come to class on time, who are respectful to the martial arts and the sensei, and who are willing to trust and learn. Any student who is willing to learn comes into the room leaving their ego at the door. With that agreement in mind, then that's our contract. Private classes are 90 minutes long and can be requested for any day of the week at any time provided that the time is not already scheduled. Semi-private and small group classes can be requested and done upon request. Classes can be in the day, afternoon, evening or late hours. Classes are for men, women, children, and couples. No age is too old or too young. Everyone is welcomed. Remember that personal safety and protection skills never goes out of style.
