- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and based on the time, preparation, and editing that go into each project. Every package includes careful retouching and delivery of high-quality images. I don’t add hidden fees, and I can customize packages depending on the scope of your event or session. For returning clients and multi-session bookings, I offer discounts. Travel within the NYC/Jersey City area is included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a secondary photographer, I focus on capturing the moments that the lead photographer may not have time for. While the lead works closely with the couple or main subject, I dedicate my attention to the guests, candid interactions, and behind-the-scenes details. My style is documentary and artsy — I love finding movement, emotion, and unexpected perspectives, often using quirky lenses or creative angles to give the collection extra character. This ensures the client gets a complete story of their event — not just the posed shots, but the atmosphere, emotions, and little moments that make the day unforgettable. My role is to complement the lead photographer seamlessly, so together we deliver a richer, fuller collection of images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I combine both formal training and hands-on experience with a deep technical background in photography. Beyond working with clients and assisting at events, I also created Shashinka, an app designed for Sony cameras to streamline shooting and creative workflows. This technical knowledge gives me an edge in understanding my gear inside and out, while my artistic practice ensures I use it to tell stories through images.
