I had never had my hardwood floors redone before, so I can't compare Guilherme's work to others. Like anything brand new, the floors look fantastic—time will tell how well the job holds up. That said, having worked with other contractors, I can confidently say this: Guilherme and his team are efficient, meticulous, and professional. They completed the work on time (which is rare in this industry!), refinishing over 600 square feet without leaving behind any mess or debris. Plus, the crew was incredibly courteous and easy to work with. We live in a hundred-year-old co-op, which comes with its own set of challenges. Guilherme and his team navigated the building's board requirements and the quirks of an old apartment seamlessly, without causing us any stress. Highly recommend! We went with a matte finish. The first, glossy photo was taken right after the varnish was applied. But it should give you an idea as to the scope of the work.

JD Flooring just completed hardwood flooring installation (on upper level), new stairs installation and sanding and staining (on lower level). I am extremely pleased with the whole process. Guilherme and his team did an excellent job. His team is hard working and professional, quality of work is great and attention to detail is high. Not once did they take a short cut.
