I offer a complimentary consultation so I can learn more about the project to provide an estimate. I am a one stop shop for my clients…but work with over 100 manufacturers from upholstery and case goods to window treatments and accessories.
I have over fifteen years experience, previously working with clients on Long Island and in NYC. I relocated my business seven years ago and now cover the NJ/PA regions.
I thoroughly enjoy putting ideas together for my clients. Such as color, fabrics, furniture and a functional room design. I offer ample selection of products for the clients and can work with any furniture style and budget!

I liked Kathlene from the moment she walked in. First impressions are everything and she did not let down. She has great taste, and I put my trust in her from the beginning. I needed someone who would take the hammer and run, and she did just that. Before presenting the room layout and design ideas to me, she got a good sense of our taste in decor as well as making sure she got a feel for the rest of the decor in the home... to make sure everything blended and flowed well from room to room. She was very thorough in her research, and when it came time to pick out everything from the paint, to carpet, to pillows, and curtains, there were many choices all of which made sense and fit with the look we were going for in the room.
She is very personable, flexible, and reliable. She is thorough and you can definitely tell she takes pride in her work. She is honest and willing to work within a budget that is comfortable for you. I would highly recommended her to my friends and family.
The photos attached are my new family room. This was an addition to my house, so this room never even existed prior to this. Kathlene was working off of architect drawings and a very bare bones framed out structure when she came to quote me for the job.

Kathleen has helped us with designing furniture, wall paints and other decorations. She is prompt, professional and excellent in her work. She always answered to our questions and provided help in selecting pretty much anything related to the house, such as paint colors, lighting, tiles, hardwood stains etc. We got lot of complements from my friends and family members on the furniture and wall paintings. Highly recommend her for any interiordesigns projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is very easy. I provide a full design service, from inception to completion. I offer room planning, furniture ideas, window treatments, flooring and accessories. My clients only pay for the items that you would like to purchase. There are no outside fees. So why not eliminate costly mistakes and have a professional eye help you make your vision a reality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The complimentary consultation is the first step. it allows me to meet with the client and learn more about them, their style and what they wish to accomplish. I can then work up an estimate for the project, so they can budget accordingly. At which point I will start my research and put a presentation together specifically for that client on our follow up appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Metropolitan Institute for Interior Design 2004. On going training with Decorating Den Interiors designer programs and classes.
