I recently closed on a new home and needed someone to help talk through design ideas with me for the entire home. William was extremely helpful and went above and beyond what I expected. We walked through the entire space and he first listened to my ideas and then gave me great feedback and suggestions. He’s shared a lot of knowledge with me, especially in managing dimensions of a room and how to make the space work according the dimensions. We talked about everything from paint colors to backsplash to rugs to layout. I really liked that he could suggest a range of options for each space. I would definitely recommend him to someone looking for help with their design needs.

Billy was a joy to work with. We had a bedroom that I just could not get to work- funny angles, not a lot of light, pieces that did not feel connected. Billy had so many unique (but attainable) ideas that tied my vision together. He found the right balance between my what both my husband and I wanted in the room. He also provided a ton of value by being super honest with which finishing touches could be purchased at less expensive stores, and which might be worth the splurge.
He was so quick to reply and always had me laughing! I will be using him for our living room, our country home, and will be recommending him to everyone I know

William was absolutely amazing. He helped me pick out some finishing touches for our bathroom. I love how he didn’t direct me to upscale shops, but rather places we could save money and achieve the same look. Highly recommend!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always loved design. After we completed our own remodel, I had many friends ask me to help them with their own homes. I purely enjoy the work, and figured I should take my hobby public on Thumbtack!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently revamped a clients entire living room with decorative accents she already had on hand, and a simple shift in furniture placement. Using those big old books you have stored in the basement can make great coffee table additions. Let’s use what you have before we go shopping!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take our phone consultations. You can tell a lot about someone over the phone, and I think it’s important to have a relationship with your designer. Architects build a space. But the designers bring your space to life. You want to feel heard and understood, and a phone consultation is the perfect place to start.
