Dorothy Russell his grandmother worked as an executive housekeeper for luxury estate homes and offices in the Greater Tri-state Area before she decided to retire to take care of her grandson Rayvon Southerland, who now runs his own cleaning service. Thus Story Cleaning was established. We seek to improve lives, make room for new opportunities, and create personal moments that leave the most positive impact like his grandmother Dorothy Russell did for her clients. We switched to story cleaning this fall after having worked with another local company, who we were super happy with but having scheduling difficulties with. We have been so, so happy we switched. Communication is a breeze--the one time something was missed, they sent someone out to address it the next day. I thought our house was clean with our previous cleaners, but it's clear to me how much cleaner it is with them. Malachi has been our cleaner for most of our sessions, and has done a FANTASTIC job--it feels amazing to come home after they clean. Everything is pristine. One of the great things about Story is the consistency between cleaners. With our old cleaners, we hated when we had to have a new cleaner--there always seemed to be a few sessions where the house didn't get as clean until they got into their groove. With Story, I can honestly say we can't tell the difference between cleaners--the house is sparkling every time. What we do very much appreciate is the friendliness and flexibility of the staff. Now that we're clients, we can say we appreciate how they treat their cleaners (for example, reaching out if anything has happened and they need to reschedule). They're always available to work quotes and prices.

I scheduled an appointment at 12pm, the cleaners show up at 11:45am. That’s one thing I love about this company. When they came in my home they waste no time do the job I requested. They did amazing job I’m going to refer this company to my job so they can clean where I work at.
