After working with Patrick for just over a year I have gained more then just vocal technique, I have gained an intense knowledge of the music industry. While learning how to craft a song into your own piece Patrick uses personal experience to make the song yours. I would have not gotten into Belmont University School of Music (one of my top choice universities) with out the help of this professional, experienced mentor. Thank you Patrick!
David is a phenomenally talented composer, arranger, and producer of all genres of music. His ability to capture the essence of musical styles and produce crisp clean sounding arrangements is simply second to none. Working with Posterity Studio helped bring out the detailed nuances in my music that I was looking for. I was coached to push beyond my own vision and stretch to achieve the sound I was looking for. I was able to record a live performance, 5-song demo in a single afternoon and receive a finished mastering of the cuts in record time. David was open and willing to work with me to make small changes and alterations to the final product which met my needs and my budget. Overall I'm very pleased with my experience. Posterity Studio uses up to date equipment, techniques, and sounds to produce high-quality productions. I look forward to my next session.
Annie is a wondeful teacher. At first when I decided to take vocal lessons I was afraid that I will not feel comfortable to sing infront of someone who is new. Annie made me so comfortable to sing infront of anyone and not feel shy about it at all. What I like about her too is that she tries to introduce me to new styles of music in order to improve my voice and breathing techniques. She also gives good advices that helps a lot!
Michelle is the piano teacher I wished for when I was a kid! Michelle is patient, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. One of the things my 7-year-old loves most about Michelle is that she lets her explore her musical creative side. Michelle has guided my daughter in composing her own music, tackling tough songs of her own choosing and in introducing instruments like the harmonica into her selections. Michelle is always upbeat and full of positive energy and as a result my daughter loves her music lessons.

I have been away from playing the piano for many years and I wanted to relearn and move on to increase my abilities so that I can enjoy playing. After my initial meeting with Dave, he was supportive and quickly able to observe both my existing skills and those that need to be developed and provide me with some key points to begin practicing. I look forward to making progress toward my goals.
I sat down with the mixer explained to him what I wanted and I got just that. He has a good ear for music and I will definitely be back when I’m in NY. As a traveling artist it’s hard to find a good studio but not if your in Queens just go to Soundvision Studios.
Robert is an accomplished songwriter and composer in his own right, and knows music theory extremely well. I would recommend him highly.
Alison Ervin has been our 7 year-old son's piano teacher for the last year. Alison's patient and laid-back personality makes our son feel at ease. She allows him to be creative, while also teaching the fundamentals of music.
Marc is a superb talent. His work is always on point and perfectly reflects the tone I am going for in my web projects. He has an innate sense for music, sound, and rhythim that is refreshing and rare.
I follow Nico's gigs as regularly as possible and have been doing so ever since her fledgling days as a singer song-writer. I love her original music as it has captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics . She is quite tenacious in getting herself "out there" and in so doing, she leaves me breathless with all the things she does to promote her talents at any one time. I like to go with friends to hang out at her various gigs and be entertained by her while casually enjoying good food rather than a cover band with very loud music. Nico is a very talented singer and musician who plays different instruments equally well.
Joey Auch has been helping me to record, write, and produce my upcoming EP. Anytime I read reviews I always take notice of any red flags such as overly negative or extremely positive reviews. I hope that my review does not seem suspect due to my enthusiasm and unwavering confidence in Joeys talent. If you are seriously looking for THE producer to help create whatever it is you're looking for, I have no reservations that Joey is your guy. Simply put, he is a genius without any of the ego you typically find with such talented producers. He is an accomplished musician who not only plays several instruments, but he is also a fantastic singer and songwriter and is extremely humble about his talents. I have had the opportunity to work with other producers, singers, and songwriters and comparatively speaking, Joey is can be considered the producer "par-excellence - one who is comfortable working with an artist regardless of how concrete his or her vision is and how experienced he or she may be. He can intuitively extrapolate the artist's vision while still, as I have experienced, patiently take the time needed to push and encourage the artist to achieve a new levels of skill, thereby helping create and tease out an even better sound, product, and song. Simply put, Joey will work miracles with whatever you, as an artist, may have in mind.
Kiyoshi is an excellent guitar teacher and a fun person to hang with for an hour. He has knowledge in a variety of musical genres, something that was important to me. I've been playing by ear for almost 50 years and wanted to go back and learn theory and technique, on both acoustic and electric. After just 3 months I can now easily transpose to different keys and am beginning to learn how to improvise leads based on a variety of scales. When teaching a song, he emphasizes technique in terms of rhythm, emphasis, tone, muting, bending, and attack. All great: I look forward to the lessons every week.
Chris is a great music teacher and his rates are affordable. My nine year old really likes him and looks forward to the lessons.
Jared is much younger than I am he has a definite 'Gift' to offer to students on ANY age. He really knows his music and is able to share that talent in a Teacher-Student relationship in a very positive way. Studying Music and an Instrument can be tedious but with the right teacher the process becomes FUN and Practical. Paul G.
Great place, great music teachers, my son (6) goes there twice a week, 1 for Keboards, 1 for Drum lessons.
The PMA has been my second home for the past 5 years. I can let loose with my creativity and learn to be productive with my music. The staff especially is so dedicated in what they do and will never be anything less than excellent.
MY CD titled "Music IS A Conversation" Artist SILKY SMOOTH was coached wonderfully by Herman Kelley, from start to finish. His format and musical ingredients gave MY CD the spark needed to, travel on the avenue of music as a singer. visit cdbaby.com/cd/silkysmooth2 Listen, enjoy. He is one of the best on this avenue. All the best A.W aka SILKY SMOOTH
All of my children have taken music lessons here- they’ve learned new instruments and continue to play.
David is incredibly patient, precise, and calm. I had no idea where to start but David was able to immediately put sheet music in front of me and get me playing by the end of the first lesson. I still have a long way to go, but with David's help, I already feel like I've accomplished more than I could have on my own.
At age 62, having been asked for decades if I was "on the radio" I challenged John to train me and my foghorn voice. My expectations were met 1000%. His command of vocal technique and music in general were outstanding, but his intuitive ability to teach those things -- and make them deliriously enjoyable -- are without peer. I look forward to many more hours of his instruction.
