From as far back as I can remember, I felt a calling towards helping others. As a child and teen, this manifested itself in providing support, advice, or a shoulder to cry on for friends and family. knowing that this was something I was always good at. I continued to help people. when I became a young woman, I experienced relationship problems that had me going through the motions not knowing what to do, But, I learned from it and took what I have been through or even seen friends go through it and used it as a tool. while in school for Family & Marriage Counseling at Walden University, it made me look even deeper at coaching people in the right direction. throughout my years I have done multiple volunteer work throughout NJ.
I served as a Therapeutic Assistant for adolescents & teens in foster care encountering emotional and behavioral challenges. Helping friends and family get through tough situations was only the beginning. while having foster children in my home, allowed me to know and understand the mental and physical of a child. Self- esteem is a big problem with children today, which follow them into adulthood. Helping them gain that was a blessing for me and a gift to them. The emotional reward of serving as a confidant and mentor for these teenagers during a difficult time of their lives solidified my dedication to the helping professions and I subsequently entered a program to become certified in life coaching.
I love the fact of helping people take their life a step forward. The fact that their are many ways to get coached.... Finding out the problem and making up ways to get you in the right track, is my pleasure!!! When your sessions are all done ...... That only thing I want to hear is that you are a better person then you were when you started.....
