Cali painting did a great job cleaning, sanding and staining our deck. Hoover was very thorough with his explanation of the process, methods and techniques that would be used, as well as providing accurate timeline and cost estimates. The pricing was reasonable and the finished product addressed our concerns - removing mildew and dirt stains, smoothing out and rehydrating splintered wood, and improving the appearance of the wood. We would recommend this pro.

We recently hired Cali Painting for our home, and Hoover managed the entire job from start to finish. From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating — when I asked him to start the following week, he agreed without any hesitation and showed up right on time.

What really stood out was Hoover’s technical expertise. He is extremely knowledgeable about different painting techniques and took the time to share genuinely useful tips with us. His crew was equally impressive — hardworking, professional, and thorough in everything they did.

We had a specific request: we wanted to keep the exact same colors that were already on our staircase, walls, and bedrooms. Rather than approximating, Hoover went the extra mile and found the precise color matches at Home Depot. The result was seamless. The work was incredibly clean, and the attention to detail throughout the entire job was exceptional.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for a painting crew that is reliable, skilled, and truly detail-oriented, Hoover and Cali Painting are the ones to call. Highly recommend!

I contacted Hoover through Thumbtack about staining my deck. He responded immediately and came to my house a few days later to give me an estimate. He even added power washing for the railings. The team arrived to do the job. It exceeded my expectations. They left the area immaculate. I would highly recommend this company. I will definitely be using them in the future.
