- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having come from the supply portion of the industry we worked first hand with contractors throughout the tri-state area selling them Roofing, Siding & Windows for their projects & In doing so, I saw a great deal of contractors who didn't quite have the proper training, know how, or product knowledge to successfully run their business. Most of the contractors would call me Directly & still do asking me everything from warranty information to installation questions. So in essence we were the teachers and the contractors were our students. With that said we saw an opportunity to do learn from all the other contractors mistakes and utilize our expertise to benefit the homeowners and offer them craftsmanship and products combinations that have yet to be offered in the tri-state area.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We Specialize in Exterior Remodeling. Specifically Roofing, Siding & Windows. We are one of the only Contractors to offer a Fully Transferable Lifetime Warranty on All Labor and Material. We use only the Best Quality Products available to us and as a result we ensure your home will stand out among the rest. We have gathered the an All-Star Team in the sense that we have gathered the best installers from around the Tri-state. Our Installers are not subcontracted workers and work Directly for AMO Exterior Remodeling LLC.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Learn to read between the Lines: 1.) "No Problem, Send any complaints to P.O. Box #123, (Doesn't want you to know where he resides) 2.) "Our Work is Guaranteed as long as my pick up truck is running" 3.) "I can do the same work for less, because I'm not insured" 4.) "I can Get the Same Door at the Home Depot for half the price" 5.) I have over 25 years of experience (with all my workers combined) 6.) "Because We work on such tight margins, we will need full payment before the job starts. 7.) "Yes we offer a warranty, just call us if something happens,(nothing in writing). 8.) "I have plenty of references, Here... call my brother, Sister and Wife"....
