- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to get back to my roots of supporting small business. I grew up in a family run business and saw what the lack of good process and financial discipline had on the lives of my family and the employees that we employed. I have diverse training and experience in accounting, finance, tax, human resources and project management that help me serve the small business owner who wears many hats
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide accounting and bookkeeping services so that we can provide the owner with a snapshot of the cash flow and profitability of their business. We work with the business owner to keep them in compliance with state and federal tax laws (sales tax, estimated taxes, payroll taxes, annual tax filing). We also provide complete payroll services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important is the relationship fit, do you think you would work well together. You need to establish trust and reliability. There needs to be an open dialogue in sharing and learning from each other. We need to ask a lot of questions to fully understand your unique situation.
