- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $65 per hour for landscaping. $100 per hour for tree work. Prices and estimates are always discussed. Any planting or bulk material has labor charge included in the price, unless discussed. Also dump fees vary depending on amount of waste. Any type of lawn treatments are priced according to the size of the property. Irrigation startup and winterizing (blow out) vary according to size of system.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers and let them get to know me. We walk through the property and discuss what work they may want and go through everything I have to offer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal education. Started as a summer job like most people get when they're young. From that point on its been "I'm the field experience". If I didn't know something or still don't know something, I research and learn as much as I can.
