We cook from scratch, using the freshest, and most local, ingredients available, and we cook authentically using the culinary techniques and seasonings unique to different cuisines. Hearing, or overhearing, that someone has had our food and it was the best "xyz" they've ever had! The food was excellent! Kathleen was personable, professional and extremely flexible in working to accommodate the dietary and scheduling needs of my event. I would definitely use her services again!

First off, the menu Chef Cathy put together for our international theme was perfectly balanced and diverse. The food was a hit with our guests! Working with Jersey Girl Cafe was easy and quick responses to every question. Very accommodating and I would be happy to hire them again. They were not late but not early either so if you start at 11:30 let them know you need them there by 11:15 at latest. Paper goods that came were included but don't count on it to cover your head count, buy separately.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's start with a phone call to get an idea of your vision for the event menu. Then I will email you some ideas. We can then meet to discuss how you want things set up whether its in your home or at a special venue. Finally, we can do a tasting so you can decide on the final menu, if you want any changes, and we make the booking!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed Culinary Program from Mercer County College. Culinary instructor for 15 years. Personal Chef for 12 years. Chef / Owner of Jersey Girl Cafe for 6 years.
