Monsieur Guy was just exceptional. My daughter was trying to learn a half year of French in 6 weeks to get caught with her grade in a new school, and Guy made the entire process not just easy but fun. He even bought her the textbook she would be using at school and mailed it to her. His lesson plans and prepared materials were wonderful. He’s such a caring, authentic teacher and I could not recommend him more!

French Lessons
Guy is the best! He has helped my son (who has some learning issues) so much with his French. Guy is professional, positive, upbeat and personal. He will sit with my son until he is sure that he understands the concepts, even if it takes longer than the allotted hour. He is flexible with scheduling and always gets back to us in a timely fashion. He’s very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? With new students, I ask about previous experiences they have had with the French language. I ask students to speak about their preferred leaning styles and state their language goals. In response, I prepare a variety of activities which are thorough and rigorous and that relate directly to what my students are studying. These carefully selected activities are intended to reinforce what students are currently learning and to globally enhance their language skills.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BA in French and Psychology with a minor in Sociology and an ESL Certification. I studied French language, culture and literature. I have lived, worked and traveled extensively in Southern France. I received a Fulbright Grant from The US Department of State in 2011 via The Classroom Teacher Exchange Program. You can read a published article about it by clicking on the "website" section above. Additionally, I regularly participate in the New Jersey World Language Summer Technology Institute, The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Workshops as well as the American Teachers of Foreign Languages(AATF) professional development workshops and the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey (FLENJ) professional development seminars.
