Guy was a wonderful tutor. As an older woman about to travel, I wanted to learn a bit of the french language to show respect to the country I was in. Guy was patient with me and we worked at my pace. He answered all my questions, and gave me printed worksheets and emailed me websites to support my learning. He never short-changed me on time, and was always attentive to make sure I was understanding the language. Guy was responsive to my questions when I needed to text him between lessons. I highly recommend using Guy as a french tutor.Jun 28, 2019French Tutor Guy's reply
What a delight working with you and to know your trip to Montréal was a success!
Guy is an excellent tutor! His French is impeccable and he is always well prepared and on time. Our lessons are fun and inspiring. We practice grammar and vocabulary and have a great time with casual conversation that is relevant to my life. Guy is very flexible and is entirely willing to help in whatever areas I need it most. I truly look forward to our class each week. It is well worth the money and I am becoming more confident with my French every day. As an adult Francophile, I feel lucky to have found Guy as my tutor!Apr 5, 2018French Tutor Guy's reply
Thank you Cindy - I admire your dedication and commitment to learning French. You are inspiring!
Guy is the best! He has helped my son (who has some learning issues) so much with his French. Guy is professional, positive, upbeat and personal. He will sit with my son until he is sure that he understands the concepts, even if it takes longer than the allotted hour. He is flexible with scheduling and always gets back to us in a timely fashion. He’s very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!Jan 17, 2019VerifiedFrench Tutor Guy's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? With new students, I ask about previous experiences they have had with the French language. I ask students to speak about their preferred leaning styles and state their language goals. In response, I prepare a variety of activities which are thorough and rigorous and that relate directly to what my students are studying. These carefully selected activities are intended to reinforce what students are currently learning and to globally enhance their language skills.

I studied French language, culture and literature. I have lived, worked and traveled extensively in Southern France. I received a Fulbright Grant from The US Department of State in 2011 via The Classroom Teacher Exchange Program. You can read a published article about it by clicking on the "website" section above. Additionally, I regularly participate in the New Jersey World Language Summer Technology Institute, The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Workshops as well as the American Teachers of Foreign Languages(AATF) professional development workshops and the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey (FLENJ) professional development seminars.
