Introduction: I've been dancing over 14 years, and teaching/choreographing Hiphop for over 9 years. I have been blessed that dance has allowed me to travel the world, meet many people, and learn more about my craft. I recently returned from traveling between Hawaii, Los Angeles, Seattle, and San Diego for the last 3 years competing and teaching. This has helped me gain more experience and broadened my view of other forms of movement, which i now add into my classes. Since i began dancing, I've studied under pioneers and icons in Hiphop & Street Dance in NYC & LA. My mentor, Kamel Howell, taught Chris Brown, and was his choreographer for the 2013 movie "Battle of the Year". Throughout the years I have developed a teaching method from my own trial and error. Now I can help my students develop their skills faster and more efficiently! I guarantee my instruction is of the highest quality, and fun! I believe we learn the best when we are enjoying ourselves. I show students all Hiphop has to offer, they find what they like most, & we focus on that! Students leave stronger, sharper, feeling accomplished & with new moves to practice/showoff on their own time. My ultimate goal is whatever the students goal is. Regardless, all my students are groomed so they can eventually be their own teachers/choreographers one day as well. Lets DANCE ! I love helping someone learn something new, or help them become better at something that they really enjoy or struggle with. Also, dancing is fun and I try to inspire others to have more fun in life by doing what they love. Dancing builds strength and sharpness, and performing builds self-confidence and helps us be less intimidated by large crowds. I love to watch my students become the teachers! I love learning from my students as much as i love teaching them.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My first class is always an intro class. There is a fixed rate for that which is $40 (regardless of class length). I would like students to know they enjoy my instruction before committing to my usual rate. Once they find the instruction is suitable for them and of the highest quality, we adjust the rate depending on the frequency and length of the lessons.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I followed my heart and my soul. I did what felt good to me. Now something that was just my passion has become my career and my main form of income. Never give up on your dreams!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be ready to have fun and feel great! What you receive in my class is based on what you would like to get out of it. If you decide not to hire me, I hope whoever you do hire can guide you to be the best YOU that you can be!
