Over the course of almost a year, Robie took on a challenging project: designing a total gut renovation and expansion of a 1950s ranch, while at the same time, calming and encouraging an overwhelmed and style-impaired couple who had never even had their bathroom updated. He helped us focus our needs and wants, diplomatically offering guidance, yet always coming up with new and better ideas for us to consider. Over the months, thanks to Robie, we got more comfortable thinking "outside the box." Bottom line: Robie was able to turn a scattered and confused wish list, into a home we never dreamed we'd have. And five years later, we still can't believe we live here.

Our most common projects are residential renovations but we also occasionally do provide retail and commercial design services. Another key service we provide is due diligence services including zoning feasibility and construction pre-planning.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I advise all clients to understand that working in NYC is a complex process so patience is a key. My job is to help manage the client's expectations and hopefully reduce their stress by keeping an open line of communication.
