Because I take pride in my work and it is always better to do overkill then try to cheap your way out of projects
I started laboring for a stucco co. When I was 18 then went threw a hand full of contractors in which I ended up leaving because they didn't want to give me much for raises per year I have also labored for custom framing co,custom tile co, lanscaping co and now I am working for myself because we'll minimum wage is going up alot if are pay base is going down in the trades In these hard times allot of us are having, but the one thing nobody can take from me is all of my yrs of experience and my work ethic. I think that most people are complete lazy people compared to people like my grandfather who really had it hard and really new what a day's work really is.
