I contacted Mr Brenner for a prenup. He wrote my last name wrong on 3 separate revisions even though I corrected him initially. The last and final revision the last name was correct. I had to contact him to mail me a final copy since this was all done online. I never met with him face to face. When I did receive the document by mail the last name was again incorrect. I don’t have access to a printer that was the reason I needed a hard copy mailed to me. His response was “can’t you go to Kinkos?” I responded that was not the point. The point being the document was incorrect and didn’t offer to mail me a correct version.

I had a complex divorce and went through thousands of dollars and 2 attorneys in 2-1/2 years. Nothing was resolved by the attorneys. I called Douglas to mediate. Within 4 months the divorce was final. Douglas always was available whether phone or email or meeting. He would always get back to me extremely fast. Douglas always knew what he was talking about and what case he was on, he never back tracked. He always went forward with the issues at hand and did it with grace and respect. He was very thorough, kind, soft spoken and reminded you that we will continue until we work this out. Douglas worked it out fairly. I will and would highly recommend Douglas!! He always did what he said he was going to do. He worked at great speed and saw it through.

My fees are generally more reasonable than most, and I do offer payment options to assist clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most often I like to meet once face-to-face at least once to establish a rapport. Often times I do not charge for an initial consultation, although that depends on the matter.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
MY EDUCATION NEVER CEASES, nor should yours. I take continuing legal education classes, talk routinely with lawyers, business owners, family and individual counselors and therapists, and read extensively. I also regularly attend trainings and seminars.
