- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bid by the event. Of course quality cost money. I do not like to have package deals. I want to give it my all so I allways bid as if my entire system will be used. call it the gold package always. I usually charge between 75 and 100 per hour. Weddings always cost more due to the large amount of planning. I know uncle Joe will bring an ipod and speaker for free but I bring the CLUB!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I bid the event, have them fill out the planner, we meet and discuss/finalize details. I will do retainers that are refundable within a certain amount of time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved with music technology for many years. I research the best technology and am not afraid to use it. I am an engineer by trade. I know how digital devices work and I know lighting and sound. I am a real pro!
