- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Within 30 miles of Albuquerque city limits outcall Massages are: $80 for 60 minutes $110 for 90 minutes $25 for each additional half hour up to 2.5 hours (determined before the massage) For massages between 30-70 miles from Albuquerque, add $20.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I live for Continuing Education. Outside of medical massage, reflexology, and some spa modality courses, I am completing my Masters in Community Health Education in the fall of 2016. The courses and electives of this degree broaden my understanding of public health and the results of lived environments on the human body. I also observe in a Physical Therapy office to cross reference our fields. I look forward to trainings in the Active Release Technique and Physical Therapy school.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I visited an exhibit of the human body and immediately became enamored. In courses to deepen my yoga practice, I embodied the ability to adjust and heal my own injuries. I wanted to deepen my understanding of the muscular-skeletal system and kinesiology. Massage Therapy was a natural next step. Since massage I have also taken courses in doula certification to better understand the body's needs during pregnancy.
