Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: As with many services, pest and weed control often requires more than one attempt and secondary treatments. To begin, at Horizon, we try to help our clients understand this so there are no disappointments. Then, with that in mind, we stay on the job until the issue is in control. With most services, this is often without any additional or hidden charges. We guarantee our services and results. There are several things that make this a perfect occupation. 1) the satisfaction of results, satisfied clients, and a job well done. 2) Getting to meet and create relationships with a lot of people in our community. 3) Not having to be stuck in one location all the time. 4) being outdoors for much of the time.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are required by the New Mexico Department Of Agriculture to do yearly continuing education. While there is a minimum, we do as much as time will allow in order to stay up to date with all new developments in chemicals, methods, and changing laws.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that any provider they use is licensed and insured in the specific applications they are making. There are many different classifications in the pest and weed control industry. Just because an applicator has a New Mexico Department Of Agriculture license number on the side of their truck doesn't mean they are licensed, trained, and knowledgeable about all areas of pest and weed control. If they're not licensed for it, their insurance won't cover it.
