Bought a 40 y.o. foreclosure. Everything substandard, even the meters had been removed. No electrical, gas; a real mess.
RGZ came in and did 200A (my request) upgrade including:
-obtaining permission from PNM for new 200A upgrade (has to be formally requested for residential service)
-installed new exterior main panel back fed to an interior subpanel (again my request)
-installed a tall (due to tree problem) but rigid + properly secured (with guy line) mast from good pipe.
-All work passed inspection in about 60 seconds: tag issued immediately, without any corrections.
-Then RGZ managed the PNM service drop from the pole.
-All work done quickly (house had power in five days after initial work commenced), without any mistakes or me having to be involved.
-All work executed with care and the least amount of invasive cutting of interior walls or exterior stucco. Patching interior cuts were easy due to RGZ's careful incisions. No damage to bushes, plants etc.
-All work done on agreed budget; no 'extras' or 'I forgot' etc.
-Mortgage appraisal guy impressed with quality of work.
-Fully intend to use for future expansion needs.

We had a string of halogen recessed miniture can lights that stopped working due to a transformer that failed to work and an exhaust fan that was noisy and needed repair.. Fernando Rodriguez was prompt, polite, wore shoe covers, and was quick to diagnose the problem. He took the time to explain our options which included trying to find a replacement transformer or buying new lights. We did hunt down this part and paid 1/3 of the price of a new string of lights. Our exhaust fan was fixed as well. His rates were very reasonable and Mr. Rodriguez was willing to come to our home on Saturday. We were so pleased and we will call him any time we have an electrical problem!

Fernando did a fantastic job on a small home wiring job. He was prompt, courteous, neat, knowledgeable, efficient, and his price was competitive. In short, he's everything one looks for in an electrician. Would definitely hire again and highly recommend his services.
