FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once hired by the client, I like to follow up by phone prior to the shoot and answer any questions the client may have. I am also happy to suggest clothing coordinates/colors/settings, if the client needs assistance. I request a deposit at time of booking to hold the appointment, usually half of the cost of the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although always loving art and photography (I took my first portrait with an old 35mm film camera at the age of 7!) I began seriously investing in my craft ten years ago, when I attended UNLV courses for basic and advanced photography, followed by credit in fashion photography and working with models, in a course from CSN. In 2012 I attended the amazing photography convention Imaging USA, a week long smorgasbord of classes and hands on training. That same year I opened my first photography brick and mortar studio. After some significant health issues affected a member of my family, I took a hiatus from serving clients, but never stopped creating art and portraits of my own family. Now I’m back to helping others create memories in wall art and portraits and excited about it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have photographed models for their portfolios, couples/engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, children, families, art inspired, and landscape.
