FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based off of my skill, knowledge, products used and application time. You are paying for an investment on your appearance for what may be a special occasion or a simple pick me up. If you look great you will feel great & you get what you pay for. Don’t be afraid to spend and extra $30-$50 for the artist that cost a little more. Skip the Starbucks/fast food for the week and invest in you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I do is find out the event that my client will be getting makeup/hair for. I like to ask my clients their likes and also dislikes. I feel it’s just as important to ask a clients dislikes as you can find out a lot by asking that question. After we determine the likes/dislikes I will encourage my client to pull pictures of inspiration to get a feel for how they envision their makeup looking. The final step is determining skin type then I will tie everything together to customize their desired look for them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist & former MAC artist. I also continue my education by attending seminars and online training to stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques.
