Introduction: From weddings to portraits, maternity, sports and events, the list can go on and on. I never wanted to be a one-act magician, so I practiced in all fields of photography. I want to let my work speak for itself. I have a love for photography. It doesn't matter what the assignment or genre of photography it is. As long as I have a camera in my hands, I will make the best of any situation. There's always a story to be told. I was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada, but I left four years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a visual journalist. Four years later, I received my bachelor's degree from Brooks Institute in Ventura, California. Photography has been a way for me to better understand the world that engulfs me. I have done so many things that I never thought I was able to do, and I owe it all to the medium of photography. Making pictures is an idea as much as it is a process; an idea of capturing light and moments to explore and connect. In 2013, I took a cross country road trip to Cleveland, Ohio to document the National Senior Games. Along with 10 other photographers, we captured the essence and spirit of these senior athletes. We heard their stories, and we photographed their struggles and witnessed their successes. Fifteen days of shooting and 80 hours in a car was one of the greatest experiences I have had in my young life. A few months after Cleveland, I was fortunate enough to be accepted to The Eddie Adams Workshop XXVI. This was the single most difficult, most exhausting, most fun and last but not least, most humbling experience I have had. It was a time I will never forget.
