I had so much fun on my Engagement shoot working with Brittany!! She was so professional and extremely nice! Brittany didn't rush us or was she impatient! She took her time and made sure we captured all possible angles and poses that we wanted!! She even offered other ideas or poses, like the train tracks scene, that I did not think of!! She came prepared!! Brittany is new to the Vegas area but her passion for photography is well seasoned! She did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and allowing us to have fun! Very satisfied customers, we would definitely use her again!!

Brittany was a professional from the beginning to end! I am an aunt, with a nephew graduating from out of town. I wanted to help my sister and buy my nephew's Senior Pictures as a gift. My nephew is so important to our small family. He is the last boy on our family tree. My brother was killed when he was 18, back in 1996. My sister and I were both 8 months pregnant. We had our babies 2 days apart. My brother never saw his niece and nephew. But, I Know he was with me. I felt it as true as I feel the wind blow on my skin. My father, who raised us alone passed away from a heart attack 2 years ago. That leaves me and my 2 sisters...........I miss Our Father and Brother everyday! Even more now, because I would of loved to have celebrated with them, and I would've loved to have told them how old I feel and how surprised I am because our babies are so old...I just can't believe it. Our kids laugh at us! lol I tried another photographer from Thumbtack and she was sweet, until I accepted a last minute scheduling on her insistence. Being from out of town, I found out early the next morning that my nephew had plans and would be out late with friends. I told this other photographer and she said that I owed her $20 for canceling and $20 to reschedule. I was so confused because I hadn't given her a deposit at that point. She was upset with me. I have a lot of stress and anxiety in my life and this made me feel horrible. I am currently on medical leave from my profession as a National Director of Franchise Development because of work related stress and depression from my dad's death... I cancelled the first photographer's services because I felt so much distaste from her that I did not want her negativity around my nephew. Needless to say, I cancelled the whole gesture; I gave up on getting his senior pictures taken. I felt terrible..... My nephew later expressed that he really wanted the pictures taken. I wanted to do this and if he hadn't mentioned this directly to me, I would've NEVER looked at #Thumbtack again. But, he did mention it and I did once again request support from a professional photographer who enjoyed their craft. I was given approximately 14 quotes. ******These are the reasons that Brittany Lei at Brittany Lei Photography stood out to me from other photographers on #Thumbtack: 1) Brittany was nothing but a true professional with a desire to capture the absolute expression of life's moments. 2) Brittany was very easy to talk to. I told her a little bit about my nephew and she provided her expert recommendations so openly and I knew that she could envision what we were trying to capture. 3) All other photographers offer somewhere between 2 maybe 3 outfit changes, and only 1 location. Brittany graciously offers UNLIMITED outfit changes and locations, within reason and with some restrictions. I have never seen this offered before. I was so excited for my nephew, After the photo shoot, Brittany told me that it was done and that I could relax (Phew, one more thing to check off of my 'disorganized list)'! The transaction was smooth and without issues. This is very important to me. The photos were blown up on paper in black and white for his graduation party. They were gorgeous! In fact, as a marketing and advertising expert, I have offered to work with Brittany on the development of her marketing materials as a gift for being such a blessing. I truly want to help her for the only reason being that I want to share my talents with others. I know that Brittany Lei is another individual who understands the dynamics of capturing what is truly important in life. As my doctor said when he put me on medical leave, "Do you want to know what is the secret to life?" I replied, "No..." He said, "To enjoy it!" I repeat this anytime I worry or when I am sad....and it makes me smile. I have a set price list but work with every budget so it does change.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was 11 years old my cousin and I were always taking pictures. Pictures were a very big thing in my family, every holiday, every day, every occasion and just for fun we were always taking pictures. We just loved making new memories and wanted pictures to document those so we can look back on them. I just always had a natural eye for photography and it came natural to me. I never took any classes, I learned everything I know over the years of taking non stop pictures. I look back at these pictures from the past and can laugh or moments I forgot about I am instantly back there. Its an amazing feeling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I normally do Concerts/Events, Seniors, Travel, Families, Maternity, Weddings, Couples and much more. I also have done make-up and hair for some clients. Depending on the theme of the shoot if there is one, I pick out outfits and accessories as well to match the themed shoots (client request).
