I have been photographing weddings, engagement sessions, portraits, senior portraits, families & commercial clients for over 10 years in the Las Vegas area. I photograph people with a lifestyle photography approach, creatively documenting life and the relationships that matter most. Our Photographs are stunnnning! Mary Lou is an incredibly talented photographer. Her skill and creative flair really came through in the images, and we are thrilled and delighted!!!! Marylou photographed my family and my business including group and individual photos of family and office staff. I have had many sessions with her over the years. I have used many high end (and expensive) photographers in the past, and Marylou, who is so laid back and relaxed, has this magical ability to capture the most beautiful images of people. She makes it look easy, everything is efficient, and then you get your images back and go WOW! Every single image exceeded my expectations! I don't know how she does it. Every person she photographed agreed that it was the best photo ever taken of them. Honestly, this is by far the best photographer I have ever used. She really has a special gift and talent and I feel so fortunate to have found her. No need to look anywhere else if you need a photographer!

I have used Marylou Pipes of Headturners Photography for multiple photo shoots, including those with my son, professional headshots and of me doing yoga poses. Each of these photo shoots required something different. She was able to take photos of my son and I that captured our relationship. They were not the traditional smile at the camera shots but shots of us interacting and the photos show our affection and the mother-child bond. To this day they are still some of my favorite photos. Her professional head shots are very "real." I like that because I want to look like what I look like. Lastly - her ability to shoot me in hundreds of yoga poses is phenomenal. It is not an easy shoot because it requires the photographer to change levels continuously to get the right angle. Marylou is easy to work with, reliable and affordable. Please consider her for any on your photographic needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Full Portrait Session - $299.00 for up to 2 hours of photography, you will get 20-30 digitally enhanced 4x6 full resolution images on a DVD or flash-drive, online proof gallery for friends & family. Mini-Sessions also available starting at $169.00. A 50% deposit to secure your date on my calendar is due upon booking with the remainder due, day of session. Also, I'll send you a contract to sign & email back to me. I use only the finest labs to produce the most outstanding quality of canvases, prints, metal prints, albums, & mini books.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I understand that different people have different needs and I will talk to you and set up a consultation meeting with you to make sure I understand what you want in your photos and prepare your photo session, event or wedding day with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography at College of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas.
