Louie came out and gave us an honest bid. There was not extra sales technique, and he was very thorough and we knew exactly what to except with our new room addition.
He started and completed the job just as he said and we have no complaints. When he left my house, and yard looked that he had never been there. We are very happy with the work he provided and highly recommend his services to anyone.

Unfortunately we hired this father/son team to enclose a patio and make it habitable space. We are now living the worst contracting experience you can imagine. They do their own framing. Sadly most of what was framed needs to be redone. They scream at one another on the job site. I received a phone call from the father before framing had begun. (This was after the son called that morning to say his dad was sick and wouldn't be on the job that day) The father said "My son fired me and unless you pay me directly, I will put a lien on your house because my son owes me $300. His crew smokes pot on the job. He's getting married Saturday and I'm not going to the wedding. And I'm not paying for the rehearsal dinner either." That should have been our "walk away" but we mistakenly paid them for framing up front. We trusted them. Needless to say, big mistake. They made up and construction began. After a wall was out and some framing had been done, there was a pile of trash that took up our entire side yard. We asked about a dumpster. Of course they said it would be cleaned up ASAP. The trash sat there for a week. Of course the wind blew it all over our yard, including into our pool. They wanted to save a buck. They did not get engineering for a support beam. We paid for engineering but they kept that money. Come to find out, the beam they ordered would not have held up our trusses. A framing company said the beam would have faltered sooner than later. Again, they didn't care about our home, just money. The stories go on and on. They'll tell you anything to get more money. At this point, if they told me the sky was blue, I would have to go outside and check. Bottom line, we had to terminate the contract and report them to NV Contractors Board. The only reason I rated with one star is because the system wouldn't let me rate zero stars. Walk away. These dudes are dishonest, unprofessional, unreliable, poorly skilled and unkind. And that is the short version.

I’ll start by saying in the end I love my new patio and balcony (it’s a 5 star for sure) but the process to get here was anything but smooth. We were quoted 6-8 weeks and the project took almost 4 months. 3 inspections were failed (one due to weather), workers didn’t show up for days at a time and updates were hard to get. The team bickered, had to return several times to correct simple errors and didn’t seem to know their end goals. I understand that scheduling can be tough but communicating delays and expectations is not. I was very impressed when we signed the contract and wish I could have maintained those feelings. Lou is a good man, who I actually really like, but he has too much on his plate. If you have a ton of time then they are great but be prepared to wait.
