Mark shows up on time and does a good job but you need to be very specific of exactly what you want. Mark came to our home and fixed previous wainscoting that was done as well as framed our windows. I do believe there was some miscommunication and when asked to fix the trim around the closet we were told he would have to come back and it would be another charge. He also said he was going to take off a quarter inch on both sides of our blinds for the framing to fit and took off a 1/2 inch on one side so they are skewed and have to be replaced, which is more money out of our pocket. Mark does a good job but again be specific so you get the right quote for the work that he is doing in your home.

Recently we had a water leak from our water tank and had to open two walls due to water getting in between. Once it dried we needed to find a contractor for the repairs, drywall, texture, paint. Thanks to Thumbtack Mark De Vries came to our aid and immediately put us at ease. The very next day he and his helper were here to get the repairs started. The results are perfect.....Mark was not the first contractor to come and give us an estimate for our repairs but he was so prompt with answering our call for help and after meeting him we knew he would follow thru. Needless to say we would not hesitate to recommend him. He is honest and very fair with his quotes. He even helped us with another issue we had that was not related to our repairs but he went for parts and came back the next morning and fixed the issue and again was very reasonable. If ever you should find yourself in need of a contractor, Mark is one professional who you can trust and who will not disappoint you with his results.

I needed a wall taken out and re-worked and re- built. It was relatively small remodel but it has made a huge difference in my house. Mark did a great job. He re-located electrical boxes and wiring, supported a load bearing wall to add a support new beam, and then re-worked the wall into a half wall and built out the new dimensions, including dry wall and texture. He showed up everyday exactly when he said he would until the the job was completed. He communicated clearly throughout and is really just a super nice guy and a great carpenter. I am very pleased with the job!

I am SO happy with Mark! He's professional, courteous and reasonable. I'm really picky on people calling me back and sticking to what they tell me. He has been amazing so far and I'm so happy I found him. He will be installing my fence within the next couple of weeks and I'll post a review of his work afterwards. But I wanted to post how happy I've been with his communication!
