We just completed two additions to our home - an en suite bathroom and a home office with an external entrance. Working with Robert and Effie at Top Builders was painless. Friends who have done renovations or total builds have not had nearly the experience we had. They answered all of our questions and made adjustments when we wanted something changed. From the beginning, the project was more of a collaboration and they made sure we were comfortable at every step.Near the end of the job we even added a deck onto the patio that brought the entire structure together so that it looks like the new additions were always a part of our home. The work was sometimes slow-moving, but that was primarily because of how slow the city was at approving jobs along the way. At one point, our HOA was being difficult about the dumpster and port-a-potty being at the front of our property longer than anticipated (because of the delays). Top Builders responded quickly and, after we received a time extension, were able to remove the dumpster and port-a-potty ahead of the extended deadline.Bottom line, the entire Top Builders team was great and the construction crew was respectful of our home, cleaned up the site before leaving, and built beautiful spaces. We will definitely work with Top Builders for our next home improvement project.

One or both of the company partners meet with the potential customer. Both partners are intimately involved in the project, and communication is direct with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both partners have over 30 years experience in the construction industry. One of the partners is also a registered professional civil engineer in California, and a licensed real-estate agent.
