We had a blast during our shoot with Jay. He was professional yet easygoing and flexible. He was full of great ideas for poses and suggested one of the best spots in Maui for the shoot. The pictures turned out absolutely perfect and we couldn’t be happier.

I met Jay here on Thumbtack and booked him for photography on a destination engagement in Maui. From the first point of contact, Jay was professional, communicative, helpful and made the whole booking process seamless. Jay was instrumental in picking out our location, as I wasn't familiar with the intricacies of the local area. He met us there and was early, texting the entire time to confirm that everything was a go and our location was ready for our surprise landing. He and his assistant were lovely to work with throughout the entire shoot, making us feel relaxed, confident and overall just showing us a great time. I would absolutely work with Jay again if I ever wind up back in Maui and definitely recommend his work!

WOW just WOW. Where do I even begin? I am so pleased with my portrait session with Jay that I am already planning on booking him again next month to do my military pictures. 1) He is so easy to work with. His personality is very easy going, and makes people like me that feel super awkward “modeling” feel very comfortable. 2) He is prepared and has a vision - this is also great for someone like me that did not know what I really wanted, but was able to capture the most stunning and captivating pictures that I will cherish. 3) He provides tremendous guidance and gives you more a lot of options and variety for different poses and lighting. 4) I appreciate he worked with me to really capture shots I enjoyed instead of being insistence on the time. 5) Jay works quickly and his turnaround time is very fast. We loved working with Jay, he did an amazing job at lighting and spacing and caught the full moon beautifully incorporating it in the shots. He was creative in getting our dogs attention too! He is awesome with dogs! He helped me chose a setting that was comfortable and close to our home. I would recommend his photography to anyone and use his services again.
