Introduction: We are a full-service interior design firm and are proud to say we have been voted Best of 2015 & 2016 by Thumbtack for earning great reviews from Thumbtack customers. We assist with selections for furniture, upholstery & re-upholstery, window coverings, bed coverings, flooring, carpeting, area rugs, plumbing fixtures, lighting, accessories for the home and art prints or fine art. We shop online with you to furnish and design your project and also have access to many wholesalers in the furnishings industry. You will love the many choices for furniture and fabrics in any style for your home. The following steps complete the interior design process: * We create a "punch list" for your project. * Provide "inspiration photos" to assist with finding your "decorating style" * Space plan the space to be designed * Create a budget * Select paint colors and wood finishes you'd like to work with * Shopping begins for furniture, fabrics for upholstery, window and bed coverings, wall coverings, lighting, flooring or carpeting, area rugs, built-ins, cabinetry, moldings, plumbing fixtures, countertops, art and accessories or whichever items and services are needed for your project * Design window and bed coverings * Meet with subcontractors and trades persons and oversee their progress until completion * Arrange for furnishings deliveries and be at your home to meet each delivery * Install furnishings, window, wall and bed coverings, art and accessories upon arrival. Our only fee is $75.00 per hour including the first appointment. You can purchase directly from each furnishings supplier on line or have our firm do it for you and take advantage of our designer discounts. Happy Decorating.

I recently had the pleasure, and I do mean pleasure, of working with Leslie Lovell of Town Center Interior Design. By the time I had my introductory appointment with Leslie, I had already met and gotten estimates from two other decorators. I just didnt click with either. Leslie, on the other hand, immediately put me at ease. She was undaunted by my limited budget and what I wanted to accomplish. At our initial meeting, she took time to get to know me and my tastes. She really listened to me. She understood that I wanted decor that looked coordinated but not like it was something out of a magazine. She left knowing my color preferences, my taste in furniture, and the necessity to keep certain heirloom pieces of furniture. Most importantly, she understood my budget and that I wished to work through a prioritized list of changes. Throughout the process, she followed the list and stuck to the budget. Ever aware of my budget constraints, Leslie worked tirelessly to find ways to save me money. She showed me where I could purchase an entertainment center that fit a tricky space and my budget. She came up with a way to alter a problem door that was going to be very expensive to replace. I ended up liking her solution so much that I had her do all the interior doors the same way, and for less cost than replacing the problem door! In the end, Leslie completed everything on my list and then some! From the outset, Leslie stayed actively involved in the decorating process. When work called for outside contractors, she brought in top-notch people to give me quotes. She came to the house to introduce contractors, go over their estimates, and inspect their finished jobs. Twice she had contractors touch up minute things I had not even noticed. She e-mailed me pictures of furniture she thought would be to my liking and met me at furniture stores to choose pieces that would blend with family heirlooms. One afternoon, she did not hesitate to kick off her shoes, climb up a ladder, and hang pictures. We talked, we laughed, we worked. I had mixed feelings as my decorating project was nearing an end. I loved my newly decorated home, but I knew I would miss working with Leslie. As it turns out, I believe I have a beautiful new house and a wonderful new friend.

I've worked with Leslie for 5 projects. I was always amazed by the different designs that she came up with. She listened to my requests and implemented it well. And she customized to whatever was needed for different projects! Leslie is definitely my go-to person for any interior design tasks. We already have another one lined up. Highly recommended!

We are repeat customers with TOWN CENTER INTERIOR DESIGN. Leslie worked with us when we built our home 26 years ago selecting quality flooring, paint, wall paper, cabinetry, window coverings, new furniture, art work, etc, throughout the home. You name it! Leslie was there. And, as we continue to improve and update our home over years, we only use TOWN CENTER INTERIOR DESIGN.

Leslie had some great ideas and definitely saved me some money… She was professional and timely and I would highly recommend her to anyone… Especially if you’ve never used an interior designer before. She makes the process very easy and listens to what you want.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I host a talk radio show occasionally regarding Interior Design and am asked to Speak at Networking groups about the latest trends. I also write & blog for National Magazines. By attending all the "Wholesale to the DesignTrade" shows a few times a year, I am constantly educated on the latest styles and happenings in the industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was an Interior Designer and I grew up working with him in his Design Studio. After high school I went to a formal Design School and received a BS degree. I worked with him from thirteen years old on and had an edge in college because I apprenticed under an Interior Design Professor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly designing a couple of rooms at a time. I also do many renovations of kitchens and bathrooms as well as Interior Design for entire homes or condos.
