FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we meet at for an initial consultation regardless of what work needs to be completed. Once we understand our clients' needs we offer advice to meet their goals. Typically, after an initial meeting I (Alejandro) will go back to the office and have an emailed quote prepared and in their inbox within 24 to 48 hours. If the customer likes the price, then we move forward to scheduling the work. We are always willing to work with our clients and if there is a budget for a certain project, we will try our best to make it happen!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our International Society of Arboriculture certification requires 30 Ceu's (continuing education units) for every three year certification period. Recently we had our annual arborist training series which is three 8 hour days of refresher material and new developments in our industry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our work consists of tree pruning, mostly thinning of the canopy, young tree development, corrective/ preventative pruning, and fruit tree pruning. Irrigation is another big chunk of the work we do with most of it being replacing irrigation valves, finding and fixing leaks in system, replacing pvb valves (backflow prevention device), and annual tune-up of all irrigation components. We do have a good number of maintenance customers which we visit either weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannually, and even yearly. New landscape installation has slowed down quite bit from five years ago but we work on new projects about 2-3 times per month with most of the work being landscape remodel, replanting, new irrigation, and HOA compliance.
