Introduction: Independent Local Math Tutor in Las Vegas, Nevada helping students succeed since 2008. Private Math Tutoring Practice for grade 6 through college and adult learners. Subjects range from pre-algebra through calculus, probability, statistics, linear algebra, and financial mathematics. Additionally, tutoring is available for mental math, standardized tests, contest math, scientific calculators, graphing utilities, and financial calculators. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of my tutoring is currently conducted online using Zoom video calls with screen-sharing, annotation, and whiteboard.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$50 for 1 hour, $65 for 1.5 hours, 10% discount for 10 prepaid sessions. Sessions rescheduled or cancelled 4 to 24 hours in advance are billed for half of the fee. Sessions rescheduled or cancelled less than 4 hours in advance, as well as no-shows, are billed for the full fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Sessions begin after an initial consultation by phone or in person. Classwork most urgent and important are addressed first. If caught up on classwork, sessions are used to help the student work ahead of the curriculum. Calculators (scientific, graphing, financial), tablet computer, and dry erase materials are utilized to aid learning. Enrichment activities include mental math, math for standardized tests, and contest math.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Previously worked for Clark County School District as a Highly Qualified Teacher, licensed in Secondary Mathematics by the State of Nevada Department of Education. Passed three actuarial exams, in Probability, Financial Mathematics, and Statistics for Risk Modeling. Passed the AP Calculus BC exam in high school.
