I take each animal as an individual & treat them as if they were my own. My prices are very reasonable and below the average listing in your area. Dog fees range from $65-$75 and cats $75-$90. I want to bring out the beauty in the pet. It’s not just a job to me it’s a work of art I’m creating.

We wanted to have our Goldendoodle hair cut short for the summer. Pet Smart charges over $100 for just cut. Additional charges for added services. I found Blue’s Pet Styling on Thumbtack. Blue charges $75 for bathing, haircut, nail trim and anal gland expression. Not only is that a great value, she also comes in at the convenience of your home. That’s a score right there. Now we have our own groomer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are very reasonable & negotiable. If a client has multiple pets I offer a discount. I generally don’t do large breeds cause I can’t fit them on my table. So I do up to 40lbs. Prices range from $40 to $60. Cat grooms start at $55 -$75 depending on how terribly matted the cat is. Sometimes I just shave the mats off for a fee of $25-30. All grooms incl. nail trimming & ear cleaning & anal gland expression. I dremel nails on customers request no xtra charge. And I do complimentary nails on other pets in the home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First of all I find out why they want a in home groomer. Is the pet very old, does he or she have health issues I should know about. Does the guardian have health issues? Then I ask what the person wants for their pet what kind of haircut, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to petsmart academy for 4 weeks then I had to do 100 dogs under supervision of the grooming manager
