- What types of customers have you worked with?
My main clients are title companies and signing companies. I do mortgage documents for home purchases, sales, and re-finances. The title companies will email me the documents, I print them on laser paper, take them to the borrower's home to be signed, then fed-ex them back to the title company. But I also work for attorneys and the general public for all types of notarial services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the notary is abiding by the State laws, and charging the regulated fees. Ask if the notary has Errors and Omissions Insurance. Ask to see the notary's credentials if you have any doubts. A professional notary should behave and dress in a professional manner at all times. Check the zip-code or address to find a notary closest to you. It should make the notary more punctual and the signing more accessible to everyone.
