Jack did a wonderful job photographing our family reunion! We had a big group, and he was able to take lovely small group photos, headshots, and the big group picture (tried to upload the larger group images, but I think they’re too big for Thumbtack). Definitely recommend him!

Jack was fantastic to work with for our engagement photos. From start to finish, he was incredibly communicative, easygoing, and made the whole experience feel natural and fun. He was great to talk to in person and made us feel comfortable right away, which really showed in the photos.
The photos themselves turned out amazing — we couldn’t be happier with how they came out. On top of that, the turnaround time was great, which made the whole experience even better.
What really stood out, though, was how thoughtful Jack was beyond just taking great photos. He recommended a hike for us to do later on our trip where birds would eat out of your hands if you had seeds. We didn’t have any, but while we were still enjoying the moment after the shoot, Jack surprised us by leaving seeds on our car before he left so we could experience it ourselves. It was such a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture, and it really speaks to the kind of person he is.
If you’re looking for someone who is talented, professional, personable, and genuinely goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend Jack enough.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the time, equipment, and editing that goes into every shoot. I never rush sessions and I always include a generous amount of edited photos. I occasionally offer discounts for military, students, and returning clients. There are no surprise fees and everything is explained before we begin.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick conversation to understand what you are looking for, your style, and the location you have in mind. From there I send options, ideas, and a clear outline of what is included. On the day of the shoot I guide you through everything and make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. After the session you receive edited photos through digital delivery along with the option to purchase prints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes from years of hands on photography combined with college level courses in photography, studio lighting, and digital editing. I have also spent seven years in the Army, which taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and focused in any situation. On top of that, I have worked alongside other professional photographers and videographers in the industry, learning everything from advanced lighting setups to storytelling, posing, and workflow management. All of this comes together to give my you a reliable and polished experience every time.
