Michelle is a miracle worker and you will never regret hiring her - she will make you prettier than you could possibly imagine, seriously - I am eternally grateful to her for making me look my best on my wedding day! I booked her only a week or two before the wedding, didn't set up a hair and makeup test run, and didn't even send her examples of what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like - I was the worst, most unhelpful and unprepared bride!! On the day of the wedding she got there on time (before I even showed up at the venue) and was ready to GO - she asked me what look I was going for and I showed her one picture of a hairstyle I liked and nothing for makeup that I wanted, I just told her that I liked her makeup and told her to do what she thought would look best for the wedding... and she NAILED IT - hit it out of the park!!! Honestly, more than everything else at our wedding, people talked about how great my makeup and hair looked the most - SHE IS AMAZING! Not only did she make me look better than I could have ever expected - she was so great to be around during all the stress of the wedding. She was so calm and understanding and just made me feel so at ease, we all loved her! All my bridesmaids and I wanted to just have there to party with us! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices start at $95 for just eye makeup application and go to $350 for both hair styling and full makeup services. I do have some a la cart options. I also have a travel fee depending on the area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a consultation and trial run with a client 1-2 months before the event so that we can both be on the same page in creating a look that the client loves!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started with makeup and hair as a competitive cheerleader in HS and fell in love hard! I progressed on to events like dances for all of my friends. Then I transitioned in to theater and stage makeup where I leaned the art of special effect makeup. I continued doing makeup for people causally until a lady whom hired me for then 3rd time to do her makeup and hair for a fitness show said to me, “how is this NOT a business for you?!” So I told her she was absolutely right and The Impossible Beauty was born!
