I am very pleased with the fine attention to detail in capturing my guitar. The close-ups of the neck and pick-up are amazing! The guitar was treated with respect and care with Maria offering to wear cotton gloves, which she did. Wonderful job!

I first met Maria Jansson when she took a photo of me and my two dogs for Christmas which I used for my holiday card. Maria has such talent in capturing the feel and essence of animals and the beauty of the outdoors. Anyone can take a photo but Maria's photography brings you into the moment In such a special and unique way. The emotion in each of her photographs is magical.

Maria has done some of the absolutely best photo's of the wild horses here at the Wynema Ranch Wild Horse Sanctuary! She is the photographer we call for any photo's that need to be taken. We highly recommend Maria!

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I take a couple online classes every year. I take photos every day. I do a lot of experimental photography. At least every other year I upgrade to a better camera, and learn everything there is to know about it. I participate in workshops, and I'm a member of several photography groups.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's been my passion since my grandmother gave me my first camera, at age 5. When I got the opportunity to start my own business, I took it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Horse Portraits, Ranch Portraits, Childrens Portraits, Dog Portraits, Event Photography (bronc riding/barrel racing/parades etc.) Lately I've taken a lot of photos of items for sale on eBay (instruments/jewelry/saddles etc.)
