FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Technical skill and equipment needed to accomplish the project are the factors which determine my estimating process along with how much time it will require. I will also tell clients that if the project is so unusual that many different factors beyond a reasonable estimating process can foresee to go on a time and material basis and log all my hours and material cost with a regular up date on progress and cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I let a new prospective client show me what they need done and then give them ideas to show what my experience has taught me from similar projects. I also will show them projects that i have completed when they have a considerable amount of work to pay for. Explain how i need to be paid in a progressive manner as the work is completed. Giving a good idea of the cost involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor of Arts and have been building from around age twelve. I went to work for many different contractors to learn from them how they work out different construction problems, but to be honest i learned so much from working along side of my father from a young age that he gave me a good ground in how to accomplish work with thrift.
