FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Grew up in Astoria and 6 years ago I became a building owner. I learned the ins and outs of keeping a 100 year old building looking good. Neighbors always told me how thankful they were that I kept my home so perfect. I realized that i had a knack for it. One day a neighbor of mine said that i should make a living out of doing what i do. I was picking weeds out of her tree pit when she said this to me. It stuck. And i took her advice literally. I learned all I could about the profession and bought the best equipment available.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are insured and have professional equipment. A lot of people buy an $800.00 pressure washer at Home Depot and start going around trying to get business. Hudson Power Washing has invested over $60K in equipment in the last year alone.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That I truly care about making the client happy and doing the right thing. I will always go above and beyond just to do the job right. We would never charge any extra than than the agreed upon price, but we very frequently do services that just need to be done to do it right.
